The Palm Grass Cebu Heritage Hotel, a project of the Guivelondo-Blanco family, is a tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of all our Cebuano ancestors who dared to dream and fight for a free Cebu and a free Philippines.
The hotel is named after an agusais or asahas, a local weed and herbal plant that grows on barren and unused land. The hotels aim to become staunch advocates for the preservation of Cebuano cultural heritage as well as promote eco-friendly practices at all times, much like the humble palm grass, which grows in abundance despite harsh conditions.
