The Asmara Urban Resort & Lifestyle Village is beautifully designed with sustainability in mind, from the building materials, which include sustainably harvested spruce timber for the structure and locally harvested coconut timber for the bar counter, to rainwater catch basins for all of Asmara’s non-potable use. It is an ambitious project to incorporate all aspects of aesthetics, environmentally conscious design, and construction.
The striking all-wooden structure and the inverted pyramid at the entrance that also serves as a rain-catcher that stores and conserves water for the resort facilities are two of our resort’s main draws.
